In business, they say, it pays to have connections. This one could be priceless.

Stay connected and stay safe. Protect your business and your staff.

Londonprepared.gov.uk provides advice to London businesses about how they can prepare for emergencies and recovery. The business continuity information can help business identify risk and plan for events such as power loss, pandemic flu, flood and other emergencies, and ensure that any disruption is minimized and recovery is as quick as possible.

Business Continuity planning could preserve employment for your staff, maintain customer services and help secure your business future. Business continuity plans are different for each type of business but all use a similar preparation process and contain key features. In preparing a plan businesses will need to:

  1. Consult widely within their organisation to involve all staff
  2. Compile information, checklists and a comprehensive plan
  3. Communicate the plan to all staff using plain language
  4. Test the plan to identify any weaknesses in the plan
  5. Review the plan on a regular basis
  6. Update to reflect changes in the business
