The restrictions on UK airspace have now been lifted, however the volcanic ash cloud coming from Iceland continues to cause occasional disruption to air traffic around Europe. Anyone planning to fly should check with their airline before going to the airport.

London’s swine flu debrief

GOL has published a London Resilience debrief to review the multi-agency response to the swine flu pandemic and to identify any areas for improvement. The co-ordination of the London Resilience Partnership, chaired by GOL, is now recognized as good practice by the Cabinet Office.
